Crafty Sibling 1; Knitting Fingerless Mittens.
Hello Readers,
I am currently knitting fingerless mittens for myself, The wool I am knitting them with has diffrent shades or pink and purple. I think these will come in handy in the winter time. Keep a look out for my finished mittens. - Crafty Sibling1 - xoxUpdate, Sibling 2
Hey there,
So this is my first post on this blog. Im crafty Sibling 2 and this is my intorduction post! I am more of a reader than a knitter, so it will come as no suprise that a book introduced me to knitting. I was reading "Jenny Q, Stitched Up by Pauline Mc Lynn" and I found knitting directions in the back of the book. Reading about how much Jenny enjoyed knitting and making stuff with her friends and seeing the directions in the back, inspired me to knit.
Ok, so I haven't knitted since I was eight, and then we were made do it as homework. Back then my knitting looked like knots of wool, on a stick, with holes the size of fists in it. Now Im glad to say that with a few days practise, Im better. I like to knit and watch Midsomer Murders in the evening. Its very theraputic but it does take a long time. I'm sure it'll all be worth it when I'm finished knitting my headband. Im not far in yet (see photo above.) . If you have any knitting tips leave a comment below. I'll update when I get a bit farther. Bye~
Happy Crafting ~ x

Knitting a scarf & Introduction. Crafty Sibling 1
Hello Readers, I am currently knitting a scarf and just finished a matching headband for my baby cousin. The scarf has only taken me 2 days to knit, while the headband only took me 3 hours. The wool I used was ' King Cole Comfort Chunky Multi ' The colours on this wool are beautiful! The wool is white with pink, yellow, green and blue going through. The wool is specially made for knitting for babies as other ordinary wool may make them itchy. My cousin is a girl and I am sure she will look adorable in these knits. I used the 'Garter Stitch' for these knits! I find the 'Garter Stitch' is very easy and simple and I love it! I am not done the scarf yet but when I am finished I definitely will take pictures. I am going to attach tassel's on the the ends of the scarf and a flower or love heart onto the headband! Thank You For Reading, Crafty Sibling ~ x
